Admission Officer

Responsibilities
  • Manage inpatient admission registration processes accurately and in accordance with hospital procedures.
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain all required documents related to inpatient admissions.
  • Collect initial admission deposits from patients upon admission.
  • Conduct preliminary verification of patients’ insurance and contracted partner entitlements.
  • Prepare documentation for claims and billing with insurance companies and corporate partners.
  • Coordinate and allocate inpatient beds appropriately in accordance with patients’ treatment plans.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for pre-authorization requests prior to medical procedures or treatments.
  • Follow up on pre-authorization cases and communicate coverage approval results to patients, relatives, and relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient admission processes.ฃ
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Have at least 2 years experience preferably with hospital or hotel environment
  • Able to use Microsoft office or familiar with computer system
  • Have knowledge and understanding of medical terminology would be advantageous
  • Service minded, highly responsible, a team player and willing to learn new things 
  • Good command of English communications 
  • Able to work shifts
