Eligible patients:
Individuals with no comorbidities, are subject to the doctor’s discretion.
Conditions negating eligibility for total knee or hip replacement packages.
- Individuals with organ dysfunction or failure.
- Individuals with uncontrolled medical conditions (subject to the doctor’s discretion).
- Individuals with comorbidities or a high operative risk.
- Individuals with a recent history of acute myocardial infarction (less than 6 months).
- Individuals with HIV infection.
- Other conditions are subject to the discretion of the physician.
The Package Includes
1. Doctor’s fee of orthopedic surgeon, 1-3 surgical assistants (if required), anesthesiologist, and physical medicine and rehabilitation physician.
2. Operating theater
• 2-hour use of the operating theater, including nursing service, doctor’s assistant, and surgical team for Uni-compartmental Knee Replacement (UKR), Total Knee Replacement (TKR), and Total Hip Replacement (THR) packages.
• 3-hour use of the operating theater, including nursing service, doctor’s assistant, and surgical team for Bilateral Knee Replacement package.
3. Executive Lake View/Executive River View patient room accommodation including standard hospital meals, nursing fee, and hospital service fee. The first night after the operation counts as night no. 1.

• 3 Days 3 Nights for Total Knee Replacement (TKR) and Total Hip Replacement (THR) package
• 4 Days 4 Nights for Bilateral Knee Replacement package
4. Medical supplies and equipment as specified in the package.
5. Medications as specified in the package.
6. Physical and occupational therapy, as specified in the package.
The Package Excludes
1. Knee or hip prosthesis (prices vary by model.)
2. Expenses from pre-operative evaluation and follow-up appointments.
3. Room upgrade or extended hospital stay beyond the package specification.
4. ICU admission or requesting extra days of hospital stay.
5. Medical consultation fee and/or treatment by internists or physician specialists in other fields not specified in the package.
6. Expenses due to emergency surgery or complications requiring the use of special medical devices or extended operative duration.
7. Personal expenses such as extra meals for patients or relatives, beverages, phone bills, etc. Any expenditure incurred will be charged accordingly.
8. Blood transfusion and pre-operative and postoperative tests, i.e., CBC, X-ray, EKG, prosthetics, etc., deemed necessary by the doctors.
9. Other expenses not related to the surgery and physical therapy as specified in the package.
10. Medications for patients’ preexisting medical condition, medications extraneous to the ones specified, and/or take-home medical supplies.
Terms and conditions
- The price is valid from now until 30 June 2024
- The packages are available for Thai nationals and foreigners. (Not applicable to Arabic patients).
- The packages cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or promotional offers or a third-party payer such as an insurance company or contracted company.
