MedPark Hospital Honored with the 2025 Outstanding OAP Award
August 14, 2025 — MedPark Hospital has received the Comprehensive Quality Standards (OAP Award) for the year 2025 from the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). The hospital won the Outstanding Award in the 'Radiation Generators, Type 1 (Medical)' category. Dr. Chamaree Chuechpetrasophon, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MedPark Hospital, accepted the award on behalf of the hospital. The award is one of four categories for which nuclear and radiation establishments from across Thailand applied for selection, aimed at promoting strict and safe regulatory standards for the use of nuclear and radiation energy.
The OAP Award for Comprehensive Quality Standards aims to improve safety standards in nuclear and radiation control. It is presented to establishments that demonstrate excellence in both Safety and Security in the peaceful and sustainable use of nuclear and radiation energy. The awardees are selected by a committee of experts, which includes Dr. Vitoon Simachokdee (Chairman), Ms. Suchin Udomsomporn (Vice-Chairman), along with other distinguished representatives from government agencies and professional associations.
