Additional terms & conditions for Executive Parkinson's Screening with PET-CT Brain (F-18 FDOPA) or F-FDG
- The patient should avoid bringing a child and pregnant women during the appointment date.
- The patient who has claustrophobia (fear of small spaces) or unable to lies still for an extended period should inform the staff before the appointment date.
- If the patient has a history of illnesses or underlying diseases such as diabetes, kidney disease, history of undergoing surgical procedures, or allergics to different substances such as contrast media, kindly inform the staff before the appointment date.
- Please do not exercise 24 hours before undergoing the test.
- Avoid foods high in carbohydrates such as rice, complex carbs, sugar, or consume in small amounts before the appointment date.
- Avoid smoking or drinking caffeine beverages such as tea, coffee, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.
- For people with diabetes, if the blood sugar level is more than 160 mg/dl, kindly inform the staff as the examination day may need to be postponed; however, it will be based on the doctor's discretion.
- Do not take any diabetic medicine and all medicine composed of sugar on the examination date.
- Refrain from giving solution or other nutrients containing sugar through an IV at least 6 hours before undergoing the examination.
