Digital mammograms and breast ultrasounds are advisable for women aged 35 and older, especially those with risk factors like a prior breast tumor, family history of cancer, first pregnancy after 30, nulliparity, long-term use of estrogen or birth control pills, and past chest radiotherapy for other conditions.
