Change the timing of the Second Dose of the AstraZeneca Vaccine

MedPark Hospital allows changing the timing of the second AstraZeneca vaccine dose only under the following circumstances:

1. Medical reasons, as advised by a doctor, with a valid medical certificate provided.

2. A need to complete vaccination before international travel, including:

  • Overseas education
  • Offshore assignments
  • Employment on cruise ships
  • International travel

Required documentation includes an air ticket or a Letter of Guarantee from an educational institution or overseas employer.

3. In cases where the individual becomes infected with the COVID-19 virus after receiving the first dose, the administration of the second dose must meet the following conditions:

  • If hospitalized for COVID-19 treatment, the administration of the second dose should be at least 4 weeks after recovery, with a medical certificate as evidence.
  • If treated with convalescent plasma or monoclonal antibody therapy, the second dose should be administered at least 12 weeks after recovery.
  • If managed through home or hospital isolation, the administration of the second dose should be at least 4 weeks after the initial positive COVID-19 test.

Please present all required documents, along with your national ID card and original appointment slip, at the registration counter at Gate 4, MedPark Hospital.
