MedPark Hospital held a centennial gala event to honor Dr. Banloo Siriphanich
Mr. Chuan Leekpai delivered a tribute lecture titled “One hundred years of Dr. Banloo: Faith in Life,” followed by a seminar on elderly care, with a focus on seniors with Alzheimer’s disease, presented by a geriatric medicine specialist of MedPark Hospital.
Bangkok, September 19, 2025 — MedPark Hospital organized the gala event “Celebrate a century of Dr. Banloo Siriphanich” to pay tribute to his lifelong dedication to Thai medicine and social development. The ceremony took place at The Forum, M floor, MedPark Hospital, graced by the presence of Mr. Chuan Leekpai, former Prime Minister of Thailand, who delivered a tribute lecture titled “100 Years of Dr. Banloo: Faith in Life.” Hospital executives, medical staff, and distinguished guests warmly attended the occasion to express their profound respect and admiration for the honoree.
The event featured many memorable highlights, beginning with an enthralling opening performance by the esteemed Romchat Choir and the Siam Ruby Women’s Choir, followed by a video presentation recounting the life and achievements of Dr. Banloo Siriphanich, accompanied by heartfelt wishes from Dr. Wilit Dhanasiri, his school classmate.
Dr. Pongpat Patanavanich, Managing Director of MedPark Hospital and Chief Executive Officer of Mahachai Hospital Public Co. Ltd., delivered remarks outlining the key purpose of the event, which is to honor Dr. Banloo’s lifelong dedication to Thai medicine and education and his contribution to geriatric care, aligning with MedPark Hospital’s mission to enhance the quality of life for patients and Thai society. The program then proceeded with the keynote lecture delivered by Mr. Chuan Leekpai, former Prime Minister of Thailand.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirintorn Chansirikarnjana, a specialist in geriatric medicine at MedPark Hospital, delivered a talk titled “Key Factors in Healthy Elderly Care.” She provided comprehensive insights into supporting the physical and mental well-being of older adults. Dr. Tairjing Siriphanich delivered the closing address, expressing his gratitude, followed by a commemorative photo session with the Siriphanichs, the Board of the Foundation of Thai Gerontology Research and Development Institute, the Board of Directors and executives of Mahachai Hospital Public Company Limited, as well as the Board of Directors and executives of MedPark Hospital. The centennial tribute concluded in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere.
