We breathe 20,000-30,000 times in a day; the lungs work non-stop even during sleep. It means we are continuously at risk of contracting respiratory infectious diseases such as COVID-19, seasonal flu, and influenza.
Pulmonary Center at MedPark Hospital cares for every lung disease, including asthma, pneumonia, smoking-induced emphysema, airway and lung infections, tuberculosis, hypertension, GERD, and complex lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and lung cancers.

Detailed Diagnosis
The human body is complex, and every bodily function and organ system is interconnected. Targeted investigation to pinpoint the root cause of the disease or abnormality allows doctors to prescribe the correct treatment. Identifying environmental and behavioral factors such as smoking, allergen exposure, or irritation by pet dander, pollen, dust, smoke, etc., requires detailed history taking by experienced doctor. Patients can, then, avoid the identified agents.
Meanwhile, screening high-risk patients – those with a history of smoking or exposure to chemicals or heavy metals and those with a family history of cancer in first-degree relatives - allows prevention, early detection, and treatment.
Doctor experience plays a significant role in diagnosing rare diseases such as interstitial lung disease (ILD), presenting with symptoms similar to emphysema; sarcoidosis, a noninfectious tissue inflammatory disease; and adult pertussis.

Advanced Technology
We prioritize accurate diagnosis by specialist doctors and modern technologies, including CT scans to pinpoint and diagnose early-stage lung cancer in high-risk persons, pulmonary function testing, and bronchoscopy.

Negative Pressure Room. Clean Air Ventilation System.
Pulmonary and respiratory infections can be severe and risky. Examining patients with suspected symptoms requires high safety measures. MedPark Hospital is equipped with negative pressure rooms with an anteroom with lower air pressure inside the room to contain air and airborne infectious diseases from spreading outside, allowing safe and effective testing for infectious diseases such as COVID-19 and dengue.
The air ventilation system inside MedPark Hospital is so efficient that it can remove more than 90% of PM2.5, providing a high ventilation rate to reduce infection risk on the premises and increasing the safety of patients and everyone in the hospital.

Family-Like Care
Doctors, health care professionals, and staff at MedPark Hospital attentively care for patients like their own families. In addition to engendering patient comfort and trust, this is helpful to the diagnostic and screening process of a patient at risk. Familiarity with patients and their relatives allows doctors to observe, take a detailed history, and quickly uncover contributing causes of diseases or abnormalities, improving the treatment outcome.
Doctors, nurses, health care professionals, and staff at the Pulmonary Center of MedPark Hospital are ready to provide care and treatment to make your every breath, a safe and quality breath, leading to good life quality.
